🎸 BRISTO IS LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRIC GUITARIST
The guitarist needs to have the groove.
The artist BRISTO , based in the south of France, is looking for an electric guitarist for an original project, as cinematic as it is hypnotic.
The album is already written. I’m looking for a guitarist who has a real sense of groove, capable of creating hypnotic riffs, with a touch of dark surf , lots of reverb and a strong musical personality.
Having grown up in Bristol, I drew my influences from groups like Portishead , but also from the dark, minimalist and atmospheric sounds that have shaped the musical identity of this city.
I’ve already released two albums:
- Eludea , currently being remastered before its re-release.
- Hannah and the Heartbreak – Open Heart Surgery , available on all platforms, with broadcasts on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music .
Today, BRISTO is my solo project.
The album will be recorded on a click track (metronome) to facilitate remixes, with producers already involved in the development of the project.
I also want to maintain a lo-fi aesthetic: a clean, organic and lively sound, with a project that remains simple to play on stage.
I am looking for a guitarist who can do a lot with a little: create an atmosphere, let the songs breathe, find the groove and bring a real sonic identity.
If you like hypnotic surf guitars, cinematic atmospheres and grooves that stick in your head, I’d love to chat with you!

The album will be recorded to a click track , so it’s ready for remixes, with producers already on board to develop the project. But I also want to maintain a lo-fi aesthetic: a stripped-down, organic project that’s easy to perform live.
I am looking for a guitarist who can do a lot with a little: create an atmosphere, make the songs breathe, find the groove and bring a real sonic identity.
